How to Join EATOC

Do I need to own a Tiger?

No you don't need to own a Tiger to become a member of the club.
However an interest in the cars would be an advantage!

I don't live in East Anglia, can I still join?

Not a problem, although the majority of our members do live within East Anglia, we also have members in the rest of the country! However living a long distance from the club area could present a problem with attending events. If you are based outside the UK please contact us before applying for a membership price as we have to charge extra for postage.

What do I get?

As a member of EATOC you will get the following items included as part of your membership.

The Club magazine "Eatoc News" which is published regularly throughout the year.
Sample copies can be seen under the About the club section of the site.

Access to the members area of the club website

Club discounts negotiated with various companies

Discounted insurance cover

Public Liability Cover

EATOC has a policy in place to provide public liablity cover for all the club members. This page outlines the key points of the cover. Club Members are able to download a copy of the insurance certificate from the members pages on the website.

A lot of people aren't aware that the public liability cover on your cars insurance is temporarily invalid when attending a show or gathering as part of a group. The club wasn't until an article was published in Complete Kit Car magazine. If you attend by yourself then the insurance is still valid (insurance companies are strange). So as a service to our club members we have taken out a policy to protect them from unforseen problems.

All paid up members of the club are covered. By paid up we mean that the membership fees have been paid and those fees have cleared through our bank account. Until this happens you are not classed as a full member and the insurance won't cover you.

The cover is for £5,000,000

An excess of £250 applies to any claim. If the claim is against a club member then they will be expected to meet the excess. If the claim is caused by a piece of club owned equipment (flag, gazebo etc) then the club will meet the excess.

Cover is for an unlimited number of events per year.

How much does it cost?

The club operates a standard renewal date where every member is renewed on the 1st January - this is to keep costs down. Due to this we have different fees depending on when you choose to join the club
The online fees are slightly higher due to the payment processing fees we have to pay.
